Vehicle description
This is a beautifully restored classic VW Convertible beetle that I bought a few years back as an investment. All the rusted areas were repaired and the car was media blasted, all bodywork and paint was redone. The chassis was restored using new components along with brakes, lines, drums, beam, and transmission.
The engine is an 1835cc dual port motor with dual Weber carbs. It has been inspected, re-sealed, carbs rebuilt and minor components replaced. The transmission was rebuilt by KCR with steel sidewinder exhaust and powder coated heat exchangers.
The interior seat frames were powder coated and all interior work performed by Tailors Upholstery in Montclair, CA. All wood bows, rubber, and top mechanicals were replaced/refurbished and all chrome window frames, latches, and components were re-chromed. The car has all of its original handles, convertible mirror, and knobs.
A custom, hidden audio system has been placed strategically for safety and not to interfere with the original dash design. The car also features a security system.
All receipts for the restoration included, there is a 3" stack of receipts (see photos)
Only 600 miles have been driven since completion of the full restoration.
