Vehicle description
1961 Chevrolet Impala Conversion (not a real convertible the top was added and still needs work the top only goes back halfway due to the interior) 135 HP 235 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual transmission, single barrel rochester carb. The car still needs the armrest for the convertible rack, No door or quarter panel glass installed or hand cranks, I have the rear quarter glass but not the front. I have 2 regulators for the windows not sure if they are the front or back. Most of the chrome has been polished the paint is in fair condition it could use a good color sand and buff. The car runs great a tuneup was just done. New oil, spark plugs wires, distributor cap, new fuel pump new starter and rebuilt carb. The motor was also rebuilt 5 years ago. New 14 inch tires with the original hubcaps, the radio doesn"t work. No oil leaks from what i can see. I published a video of the car running. https:/ youtu.be/LT1rTMQHqTE.
Note the convertible top is a manual not electric and does not go back all the way only half i attached a picture. The backseat will need to be modified and lever arms to the rack adjusted to achieve the rack folding down. The guy that was doing the interior work got sick and could not continue finishing the car. It may need more than just the backseat modified i"m not totally sure.
Items that come with the car that are not installed. Quarter Glass Driver and Passenger, 2 regulators for the windows, seat moldings polished chrome Left and Right, Rear view mirror moldings Left and Right those will need to be modified to fit they go on the left and right of the rear view mirror to cover the header bow.
The car is posted locally i have the right to end the auction at any time.
$1000 deposit required immediately from the buyer at the time of purchase. Remainder of funds can be wired within 7 days. The car needs to be picked up within 14 days.
