Vehicle description
This 1961 Corvette has been a recipient of a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration. Its matching numbers engine, transmission and rear end are all dated with correct year. It under went a multi year restoration , where every nut, bolt, tie rod end and bushings were replaced, along with fuel tank, lines, and brakes with OEM original Chevrolet parts. The interior is flawless, side door panels do not have a nick or scratch. The engine compartment is pristine, along with the exterior paint that has won multi show awards in several states, its never entered a show without receiving best of show in C-1class. It won best corvette at a show in Florida when judged with over 350 corvettes. This is a beautiful 1st class Corvette. The photos do not do the car justice, it should be seen in person to appreciate the beauty. I have a complete picture portfolio of the car from frame up to completion. The 1961 is a special year, 1st year of duck tail style rear end, along with the 1st year corvettes used 4 tail light configuration. Its the last year for the 283 cubic inch engine, and last year ever for a duel four carb setup. Its also last year for 2 tone paint, and last year for wide white walls.
