I bought this car five years ago coming out of Colorado Springs as a barn find and was all original except forthe rebuilt 390 motor. Initial plans were for a complete restoration resto modtype build. I unfortunately lost my shopand I no longer have the means to see the project through. I have installed all new upholstery includingnew rebuilt front bench seat, new seat covers, new door panels, new packagetray and new carpet. Does need a headliner but all the bows are there. Dash isall stock and nice. Also installed new 17X9 & 17X7 Shelbystyle aluminum wheels with 275 40 & 245 45 ZR 17 rubber. New windshieldwith a new rubber gasket was also replaced. Driver"s door glass is there but cracked.All other glass is good and all windows roll up and down. Body has a dent or two with original patinaand is complete with all trim except for fender gunsights. This is a reallysolid car with some rot right in the driver"s toe kick but not bad. Outer wheelhouse in the front corner needs work too. You can see the area on the floor inthe picture. The rest of the floors are nice and trunk is solid too. Motor hasplenty of power and sounds good with no leaks. No obvious issues there. Transis 3 on the tree and shifts fine. Manual steering and manual drum brakes.I onlyhave taken a couple short shakedown blasts but have not put any miles on it andhave not gone thru the car completely. I’msure there are odds and ends that need addressing like the radio and horn butnothing major to my knowledge. . These Starliners are highly sought after by custom carbuilders to turn into $150,000 resto mods and will always command big money assuch.
