1959 VW RAGTOP BUG WITH WORKING SEMAPHORES RARE! "GERMAN EURO MARKET "
"59 Volkswagen Bug type I with RAGTOP mostly wears the original factory parts and floorpan. Bought new in Germany by family member when stationed as a young soldier in the war in 1959. NEVER BEEN IN ANY MAJOR ACCIDENTS, ALWAYS CARED FOR SINCE NEW! The Speedo was recently taken out to put a Tachometer in but, I have the original Speedo that come with it. Millage is 65,000 and was stated to be the original miles.
His nephew inherited the VW and had it totally frame up restored in 2011 at a vary reputable VW restoration shop in AZ at NO Expense spared. This little German was never up for sale since 1959 or intended for resale, this car is perfect for someone who wanted to ad a cool VW to their collection. I HAVE A CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE IN HAND, "CLEAN TITLE"

This VW looks so cool in person, gets plenty of attention and thumbs up has the right classic So. Cal. "KILLER SURFER LOOK" with lowered front nose! Original Period Correct Roof Rack included. Original radio delete cover, dash was never cut up like most of them.
Floor pan is vary solid, in fact one of the best I seen ever and it is the original #matching pan, super solid battery tray. Inside floor pan was treated with RinoTuff material when restoration was done to preserve the vintage original floor pan
The 6v system was changed out to a 12v system professionally with all new wire harness All original German glass with correct markings. Interior seats is all original a is in good condition but will need to be recovers. The door panels, headliner, is in excellent condition The original motor runs good, scoots up hills with plenty of power with newly added DUEL PORT, 34 ict Weber Carbs. New exhaust New tires, with spare and hub cap included. Transmission was rebuilt, front end has a adjustable Narrowed beam that could be raised with grub screw. Recently put a new a new starter. Good engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, etc. Runs good (turn key) RUNS PERFECT. Has the original VW logo key.

The nephew of the late original owner sent out to the VW company to find out of any information he could, they sent him a letter backwith the vehicles history date on when it was delivered, color code, etc.
