Vehicle description
One of 2195 produced. The largest production convertible built - this car is gigantic! Needs total restoration, fully optioned except air conditioning. Power seats, steering, brakes, windows, trunk lock, T&C radio, and automatic headlamp dimmer system. 350 H.P. 430 cubic inch MEL engine, automatic.
Mostly complete but missing lower trim over wheel openings and along rocker and quarter panels. I did have this car running and yard driving in the past.
Sheet metal is pretty banged up along bottom of fenders, outer rocker, and quarter panels. Door skins have some rust through - driver"s door is fixable, but passenger door should have a new outer skin or be replaced. Front floors are intact, rear floor pans are rusted through. There are two small areas of rust through about 1"x1" in the unibody just ahead of the rear axle, one on each side as I recall. I haven"t been in the trunk as I don"t have the key and haven"t been able to open it. Also needs a set of hood hinges.
This is an extensive restoration project, but these big Lincoln convertibles are very rare, and top shelf examples bring upwards of six figures now. Definitely worth saving. Clear and current title on this car.
I can arrange enclosed transport to Vancouver, BC for shipping to the USA or overseas. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. This vehicle is sold as is, where is.
A deposit of $1000.00 is due within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment due within 7 days of auction end. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time, as this vehicle is being marketed locally. Buyers outside of North America please contact me before bidding. Any questions contact me at 250.640.6479. Thanks for looking.
