Vehicle description
1959 Chevy C60 Viking Dump Truck. Actual miles unknown. 1970 Chevy 350 motor in it, according to number on block. Transmission is a 5 speed, including the granny gear. Paint is poor, there is some Bondo & some body rust. Runs & drives BUT IS NOT ROADWORTHY! No tail lights work, brakes take 2-3 pumps to engage. Tires have good tread, but are getting old. Previous owner spent a fair amount having wheels made - had split rims on it. Bed goes up and down via a PTO. There"s tire chains in tool box. Originally truck had snowplow & sander on it, hence the shallow bed. Last owner used it to cart snow away. Glass is pretty good - mild wiper scratch on windsheild, pass side vent window has horizontal crack through, driver vent window showing signs of delaminating around edges. Looks like everything seeps a little bit. Radiator looks pretty green, not tight to its mounting tabs. Guy who last drove it on highway said motor/trans worked well. I see this as a Project Truck, as opposed to a Fix It & Run IT truck. I can text additional pics if you contact me. Please ask questions BEFORE you bid. Certified Check or Cash for Title.
