Vehicle description
1959 AMC Rambler Cross Country Wagon. The car has gone through extensive upgrades to enhance the fun and comfort of driving a classic car. It has a small block chevy V-8 Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, new Edelbrock aluminum intake, new aluminum radiator with dual 12" Spal cooling fans. The rear end is chevy 10 bolt.
Stainless steel headers with dual exhaust, new chrome Powermaster 150 amp alternator and new electronic ignition. Fully rebuilt 700R overdrive transmission, New Driveshaft, Mustang II front end with power rack and pinion, 4 wheel power disc brakes, QA1 coil over shocks. The rear has a triangulated four link setup. 18" steel smoothies with moon caps and new tires. New windshield and door glass felts and channels. The interior has been redone in pink and white vinyl with charcoal grey tweed and black carpet. Passengers are kept comfortable by way of "Vintage Air" heating and ice cold air conditioning.
Seats are belted for 4 people. All glass rolls up and down and doors lock. Rear window in crank operated. The paint is faded and appears very original with scratches and some dings per the pictures. Car has rattles and associated sounds. Horn, turn signals, lights, hi beams all work. Wipers are not connected. The dash has a working autometer speedo and fuel gauge. Under the dash is working temp, volts and oil pressure gauges. If out of the area I can hold car awaiting your shipper.
