I"ll write this assuming you know what you"re looking at. Everyone should have at least one microcar! I traded a Chinese Water Drop bubble car for this at the Great Pacific North West Mini Microcar Extravaganza a couple years ago. I need to sell this, my "52 Singer roadster, an NSU Sport Prinz and then my F-150 and get myself down to a reasonable three cars (another NSU Sport Prinz, an NSU Typ110 and a rusty Volvo Duett). The Goggo needs a floor and the lower 2 inches on the doors, but the rest of the body is in good shape. I can"t stick my fingers through anything. I believe floors can be bought from Uwe Staufenberg in Germany. goggomobil.com There"s an English setting. The hard part will be finding an electronic shifter and an engine shroud. I think an engine shroud from a 250 will work, but I"m not positive. I thought about using the manual floor shifter that the other Goggos have. There"s not many miles on this. 4,300 or so. I"m guessing there was a problem with the electric shifter in 1958 or 59 and the Goggo was sidelined. It"s registered and plated from Georgia and was bought at Bruce Weiner"s microcar auction. It was mistakenly registered as a T250. You get a bill of sale from his auction. It has all 4 hubcaps (three on the car, one brand new in the box of parts), 2 new in the box tail lights, 5 other used lights, all the glass is in good shape and I think it has all of the chrome. I also believe it has all of the metalwork for the sunroof. There"s lots of "I believe" in this because I haven"t seen another T400 to compare. The engine and transmission have never been started. I was told it was purchased as a complete rebuild from Larry Newberry when I traded for this. It"s a 400cc 2-stroke, twin cylinder, 4-speed. It has the hard-to-find correct carb! The engine and carb are worth what I"m asking. It"s a great looking car and it"s tempting to keep, but my current dream is to use an NSU as a daily driver. There"s a strong possibility I can deliver it anywhere in North America for gas money. It fits in the back of my F-150. There"s a Goggo TS300 for sale on in West Sacramento item 192885935480. You should buy them both and pay for a trailer rental and I can deliver. I can store the car inside for a few months. I can also help arrange shipping overseas. When I got it, it was outside a garage in Seattle.
