1958 Anglia panel wagon, straight axle Gasser Car PROJECT needs finished. Please read the entire description first before you email.
Body: All steel. House of Kolors Kandy Apple Red over gold with gold bass boat flake. 6 coats HOK Clear. Vinyl cold leaf custom emblems on top of the clear, can be removed with heat if desired but they were almost $1200.00 by themselves. . . Lexan windshield, red plexiglass rear windows, side windows are not installed, Floor is steel in front, firewall and rear floor area are aluminum. 8 point custom cage. Doors open and latch, I have a door handle kit that will need to be installed, as well as most of the original handles. Rear barn doors latch and all doors need weatherstripping. Headlight bezels and rear hinges have been chrome plated. There was and is zero rust anywhere on this car. I have another set of fenders and doors that can go with the car if the buyer wants them. No hood. I do have a front grill that is in excellent shape but needs polished (stainless) There is no electrical wiring at all.Old school gauges and Tach from the 60"s. Bomber seats with diamond pleat upholstery. No brake/clutch or throttle pedals installed, but I have an S&W Race Cars brake and clutch pedal kit that goes with the car, and a new master cylinder.
Chassis: 2 x 3 rectangular mild steel. Speedway straight axle, 4 wheel disc brakes (will need plumbed) and chrome plated ladder bars/adjustable CE coil overs in the back. 15 x 12 slot mags in the rear, 15 x 4 slots in the front with Silvertown pie crust tires. I have a polished fuel cell with sending unit that needs installed, will go with the car. I also have a brake line kit, will need installed. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch 7 liter housing (looks like an old Pontiac axle) with 4:10 posi (not a spool) and Moser 31 spline axles. I have a set of chrome QA1 front shocks, not installed but go with the car. GM manual steering box. 14-33x15 slicks in the rear. Steel battery box will need mounted. Quick disconnect steering wheel, no driveshaft.
Engine/Transmission: 1968 396" big block Chevy. Bored .030, Steel GM crank turned 10/10, Eagle forged I beam rods, TRW/Speed Pro forged pistons. 1968 215 oval port heads, valve seats ground, heights set, PAC springs and gold roller rockers. Crane blower cam, extra deep oil pan, HV oil pump, Billet flywheel, Zoom clutch, M-21 Muncie 4 speed that was inspected by a local Muncie expert-did not need to be rebuilt or repaired at all. Rebuilt old school Hurst Competition Plus shifter with new chrome bench seat stick. GMC 6-71 blower, polished, 1/2" drive package, billet tensioner. 750 Holley blower carbs, 4" thick billet blower spacer, 1" billet carb spacer. Throttle linkage and fuel lines are unknown brand but top shelf quality. I bought the carbs/lines/linkage off of another guy"s race car. Old school Cal Custom cast valve covers, polished blower intake, custom built fenderwell headers Thanks Jimmy, only took you 18 months A.H. Has a point distributor just to plug the hole, no starter. Needs an electric water pump, has an aluminum one now but that"s not going to work. I have K & N filters that go in to this scoop, not installed yet. Afco radiator with electric fan. This engine has not been turned over since it was rebuilt. Has a McLoed hydraulic throwout bearing and braided lines installed.
Big description right? Here"s why: This is a project car that will need a lot of finishing. I dont want the buyer to show up and say "I didn"t know" anything. This is a project for someone who knows how to weld and fabricate, not a beginner. When the new owner shows up to get the car, its only final payment and load up time, not inspection and negotiation time. If you arent ready to pay the final auction price that you bid, don"t bid in the first place. Not being a dick, but I don"t do well with surprises at all, which is why you see the novel I have typed above. Im happy to answer questions as long as you are a serious buyer, but again, please read the description above before you ask, it"s probably in there somewhere!
Payment: $500.00 NON refundable deposit due in 24 hours via Paypal. Non refundable. Non refundable. This covers the ebay costs if you never show up. I will relist the car in 24 hours after the auction end if you fail to do this and report as a non paying bidder. Please, just be serious and know what you are buying. I have a fortune invested that Im never getting back but I cant finish this project, so someone else gets to. If you are paying cash in person, we will go to my bank so they can count it with the machine, then notarize your name as the buyer. If you are paying the balance with a bank check or wire, it will have to fully clear my account before the car leaves. If you are planning on having the car picked up, Ill hold it for up to 2 weeks (14 days) but only after payment is made. I can help load but remember it cannot be driven on to a trailer. It can be pushed but I"ll need help with that.
Last thing: Every vehicle that I sell only leaves my home after the buyer has signed a waiver of warranty, liability and insurance. This is basic to cover me as the seller, and is non negotiable. This waiver says that the buyer understands that there is no warranty at all, no insurance coverage on the vehicle and that any and all liability is the responsibility of the buyer as soon as the vehicle rolls up to the buyers trailer or buyers shipper"s trailer or truck prior to being loaded. If you don"t want to sign that, please don"t bid.
