Beautiful Rust free 1957 Plymouth Fury. 318 , dual 4 barrels , torqueflite push button automatic transmission Arguably on of the most beautiful and iconic cars of the 1950’s. Driven on weekends in the summer by its senior owner who has just recently had to surrender his drivers licence. Most everything mechanically has been gone through in the last 15 years to make this a dependable driver. Suspension , front end , bushings , wheel bearings , brakes , carbs , exhaust , fuel system , tires , rebuilt head , electrical , driveshaft , seals and gaskets , radiator and cooling system etc. The interior was redone 7 years ago. All lights , signals and gauges are fully functional , as well as wipers , horn ,heater and factory tach , the speedometer shows approximately 10 mph over actual speed. The fuel gauge shows correct at idle but bounces a bit at road speed. AM radio turns on but doesn’t pick up any stations. Both drivers and passenger door locks work as well as the trunk lock. Car fires right up with ease when used regularly. If the car sits for a week or more it loses its prime and needs a small shot of fuel in the rear carb to fire right up. All chrome and brite work are in very good shape
The car had a bare metal respray almost 30 years ago. There is NO bondo on this car anywhere. Paint shows some Patina with light scuffs and nicks. Drivers door and roof were repainted sometime after the respray and have orange peel. Even with the age of the paint the car still looks stunning and gets compliments where ever it goes. The car is art on wheels. The undercarriage is totally rust free. Vin on listing is incorrect as will not allow a 9 digit vin Happy to answer any questions. Good luck !
