1957 Chevy Nomad. Originally Black w/ white top and red interior, 283 Automatic. Trim tag and vin tag still on the car. It now has a strong running rebuilt 350, 4bbl w/ a Muncie 4 Speed transmission with less than 5,000 miles on it. It was repainted Turquoise and changed to black interior about 10 years ago before I got it. Its been garaged for at least the last 20 years as far as I know. I have own it for about 5 years and have decided to sell it and let someone else take it to the next level. I just have to many cars and I want to finish off another project. It runs and drives great but does have a little play in the steering wheel. It has drum brakes, duel exhaust w/ glass pack mufflers, new HD big block springs, new tubular upper control arms, Air shocks, generator w/ power assist power steering, new power steering hoses, new electronic ignition and distributor, rebuilt windshield wiper motor(not installed), new tach, radio and kick panel speakers, new carpet, front seat covers and seat belts, new bumpers, grille and ext. trim. It has 15x7 front and 15x8 rear cragars with BF Goodrich tires. Some of the original gauges don"t work but the lower aftermarket ones do. This is a pretty solid rust free car that is fun to drive and gets a lot of attention everywhere I go. Fly in and drive it home. It does have some minor bubbling on the lower door skins. (see pics at link below). The paint still shines but does have some chips and imperfections from being driven over the years. The door weather stripping was replace but not the vent windows. I have them and some other parts to go along with the car including an original red steering wheel. The glass is all good except for a crack in the rear driver corner and front passenger windows. Please call me w/ with any questions, Offers or to make arrangements to inspect the car. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements but I can assist with loading. The car is for sale locally and this auction could end at anytime. I am not interested in any trades. I have posted some more pics to the link above of the Vin Tag, Trim tag and engine compartment. I do not have the original motor and trans. I do have a clear MD title with my name on it. Please contact me if you have any questions or need more information.
