Concourse body-off restoration, on this stunning Onyx Black roadster, that started life in California and has had the same local Northwest owner since 1975. [Until purchased in 2016 by current owner, from Silver Auctions. paid $103K] Inspections welcome at Classic Car Int"l Museum, Salt Lake City, Utah. Early production car built in November 1956. Features include: Correct 283-270 HP engine ("548" block, and "997" heads) with factory dual fours, Duntov cam, and fully rebuilt engine by well-known Archie Summers of Vancouver, WA. 3-speed manual transmission, Wonderbar radio (works great), rare power top car, deluxe heater and defroster, parking brake alarm, correct red vinyl upholstery, black convertible top, original wheel covers, 6.70 x 15" Silvertown wide whites, matching spare, with jack & tools. Outstanding body, chrome, glass, and trim. Highly detailed and ready for NCRS judging. Very small smudge/flat spot, on new top, size of 2 quarters, side by side. See last photo.
