Vehicle description
1957 Chevy Custom
Real eye catcher the “Old School Way! ” Please read carefully. Will try to provide all details we know about the car. This is a total custom build done a long time ago believed to be the 70’s. Vehicle runs and drives well, it is a turnkey car, it is showing signs of wear on the body. Body is very solid, drive train has been completely rebuilt recently, we do not have the details of how much the roof was chopped, the car is also tubbed as you can see in the picks. Last owner drove the car a lot over the summer with no issues, lost interest and is now selling. The engine is a 454-truck block, appears to be early 70’s, with forged internals, freshly rebuilt, cylinder heads are the 454-passenger car early 70’s heads, competition valve job, comp cams hydraulic performance cam shaft 550/580 lift 110 center line, springs, locks, and retainers, MSD ignition system dual plane aluminum performance intake, Holley 750 carburetor. We are told the engine package should make around 475 horsepower. Turbo 400 transmission, rebuilt with performance parts and 3000 stall Hughes torque convertor. Rear end is a ten bolt GM with a complete rebuild that includes 410 ring and pinon and a new Jegs positraction carrier, exhaust is a set of new GM manifolds newly custom bent 2.5” aluminized rear exit with flow master series 40 mufflers, Sounds Awesome! All gauges seem to work well, sound system includes custom kick panel speakers and rear deck speakers JVC head unit. Power windows work on both sides, glass is tinted. Doors operate with a key fob, with automatic door poppers. The interior is in good condition, and the seats were custom made. As shown in the pictures, the car has been on the hotrod power tour back in the day. Please do not expect a perfect car, I can’t state enough that the car is very cool looking, very drivable, and is not junk, but does show signs of wear and tear, as the custom build was done decades ago, which just adds to the cool factor.
No Warranty Implied! Anyone is welcome to see the car in person, or send someone to look at the car, car is available to view with appointment. All information in the ad is the only information we have available.
