Hey there classic car buyers here is a movie star of a car ,, a 1956 Lincoln Premier Convertible , the epitome of art deco styling ! I love old convertibles and the 56 premier might be my favorite , it is large, glamorous, rare and beautiful, this one is a survivor from texas and new mexico and it is very clean as far as rust goes, the floors are excellent . As you can see in the pictures the car is very nice looking , it is the original color but the paint is several years old now and has some flaws up close , the interior is nice but the seats have been redone years ago also , they look fine . I bought this car in san antonio texas from an old doctor that had a sizable lincoln collection and he claims that this car was in the Hollywood epic movie GIANT with Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean . I rented the movie and sure enough there it is but only for a short scene in a parade .that"s show business ! The car starts right up ,and sounds good, the transmission is smooth , the power steering works fine but the front end feels a little funny it wanders around could be alignment , the motor compartment is very nice considering it is all original , the original radio plays , all windows work , the power top works , the doors all close nicely, the glass is all good except the driver side front has a crack in it . the car has very nice chrome but is getting a little thin here and there but overall a great example , the tires are good , there is nothing missing . the lights work , THIS IS A COOL LINCOLN !I think that this is a one year only design and I have seen perfect concours examples bring over 50,000 dollars one sold for 70,000 recently I was told , I think that this car ,in this condition should bring 30 to 35000 dollars bid to buy, no bs please any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 I have good feedback and I can help you to ship it , might take a trade if the car does not sell for cash
