HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! DOME LIGHT WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORK! OIL AND TEMP LIGHTS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORK!
WINDSHIELD WIPER WORK: converted to electric with a kit, old vacuum motor was junk.
WHAT IS THE HISTORY? I bought 4 cars that belonged to a local man that passed away. He had about 40 cars, some restored, but most needed restored. On this Ford I put a master cylinder , fuel pump, cleaned the carburetor and more.
HOW IS THE TITLE? Good clean Tennessee title with correct numbers and signed of correct.
ANY RUST ISSUES ON THE CAR? All the panels look original, the floors are clean and paint. The frame looks very solid to me, the cross member in front of the engine looks good and I see no patches.
HOW IS THE PAINT? I see no dents and no dings, The color is black and coral. The paint does shine very good and it is not wavy down the sides. I see no rust bubbles! If I look for them I can see some minor specs and flaws, but nothing the jumps out. I consider the paint a very nice upper end driver, it is old time enamel.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its a sweet running 272 cubic inch. I hear no knocks or rattles the sound abnormal to me. I see no blue smoke and see no bad oil leaks, yes it will leave drops on a clean floor. First thing I did is replace the points with a Pertonic electronic point replacement and a new Pertonic coil.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a automatic that shifts good, it does take a few seconds to take gear if cold.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Very good bumpers, door handles good, grill good, stainless nice, parking light bezels shine good, but have some pits.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Seat covers show no wear, bottom front could be pulled tighter, I installed seat belts in the front. Carpet good, door panels not new, but good, head liner original with some bad places.
HOW IS THE GLASS? All four side glasses roll up and down and are good, back window good, windshield good with 1 ting stone chip and some marks (its very usalble).
HOW IS THE EXHAUST? Very good sound dual exhaust and very good condition. I added the old school flare V8 tips.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It is power steering to me drives very good. Like most old Fords it will leave a few drops on your clean floor.
HOW ARE THE TIRES? Bias belted, good tread and no bad cracking.
