OVERVIEW: 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria converted to Crown Victoria using ALL ORIGINAL Crown Parts. It has the Ford Dealer optional Continental Kit and aftermarket Bumper bar Kits - Front and Rear. It has Chrome Door and Quarter Window Moldings in place of the normal Painted Moldings. It has a Padded Dash. 292 V-8, 3 Speed - Overdrive.
BODY CONDITION: This is an older body restoration and modification using the original Golden Glow Yellow and Colonial White Exterior, Black and White Interior, and all the Correct Crown Victoria Interior/Exterior Trim. Very solid body throughout, Rear quarter panels were replaced during restoration, all other main body panels and frame are in very good condition. Front suspension cross member is also solid. Please see undercarriage pictures.
MECHANICAL : Recent mechanical work includes replacement of the tail pipes from the mufflers back and new through the bumper exhaust collectors. New Fuel Tank, Lines, and 4 wheel Cylinders, New Overdrive wiring harness. Tires are original style bias ply and are showing cracks from age, As a classic car collector, we realize you like to make your own decisions on Bias vs. Radial and the Width of the White Sidewalls. Tire Replacement is recommended if you plan to drive longer distances.
ENGINE, TRANSMISSION and ACCESSORIES : Engine runs well with no abnormal noises. Overdrive wiring harness has been replaced and all functions of the Overdrive unit are working. All interior and exterior lighting is working, as well as the Horn, Instrument gauges and Vacuum Windshield wipers.
Note: Clock and Town and Country radio are currently NOT working.
