Here we have a 1956 Chevy 3100 Big Back Window pickup truck. A great start to restore, hot rod, and have fun with. These are getting hard to find. This one has the 235 straight six, with the 4 on the floor. It has a granny first gear. The truck has had patch work done on it, please look at the photos as it is part of the description. It has a State of Ohio vin replacement tag on it. It is the original number that is on the title. Ohio issued a title that says duplicate. The truck does run and drive, but I would not recommend a long trip in it. Truck probably need a carb rebuild or fuel pump. as it is hard to start after sitting for a day or so. I bought this truck and was going to redo the truck and never got to it. I used it as a parts hauler. It runs, drives, and smokes at start up. The gauges do not work except for the oil pressure. The steering is loose. It has some cracked and frosted glass, and a bb mark in the front windshield. As far as turn signals go - use your hands, as they do not work. Now here"s the good: It"s ready for you to redo and put your touches on it, you get to choose the style & colors. A nice truck with great potential to restore as an original, hot rod, rat rod, or street rod. You can work on it and drive it. It always gets a lot of attention.
