Very nice "56 Corvette convertible. Please excuse the somewhat blurry pictures. . I have tremors and I can"t hold the camera still. I"ll take the car outside tomorrow (if it"s not snowing!) and get better pictures. I"ve spent many thousands restoring this car over the last year. INTERIOR:
New seat upholstery, seat foam, door panels, kick panels, carpet set, matching floor mats, electronic tachometer, custom smaller leather wrapped steering wheel, trunk mat. NEW complete black Stayfast convertible top assembly, including new weatherstrip set and front and rear latches, newly restored top frame, COMPLETELY assembled but still in the box and ready to be bolted on.
EXTERIOR:
Older paint just professionally buffed to a great shine; a few minor flaws, but very nice. New front and rear emblems, most parts rechromed. . Grill, grill oval, front bumpers, outer door handles, rear bumpers, exhaust chrome bumpers, tail lights, new side cove stainless trim, etc. Windshield glass has a small wiper mark in the far right upper corner, but not very noticeable.
MECHANICAL:
New clutch, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, distributor, air cleaner, tune up (ignition wires, plugs, etc.), tires, hub caps, complete new exhaust system (still new in boxes, not installed, but included). Deduct $300 if you don"t want it. Very solid frame with no rust issues. Miles shown are obviously not correct.
This is a really nice driver you can drive and enjoy right now. I doubt you"ll find a nicer C1 Corvette, especially one of the highly sought after single headlight models, at this reserve price. Clear title. Sold on an open Vermont registration with a notarized bill of sale. Vermont doesn"t have titles for older cars. This is a 62 year old car, sold as is.
