For sale is this beautiful 1956 Chevy Belair convertible. Finished in Crocus Yellow and Onyx Black it gets a lot of attention and complimentary comments. The trim tag indicates this car was originally blue/white. The car is powered by the original power pack engine and 3 speed overdrive transmission. To qualify: the engine pad displays the correct code. It is not a re-stamp! Whether this is the engine that came with the care originally, I don’t know. It probably is. The overdrive option must be engaged manually. The top goes up and down as it should. All the mechanical components as well as the electric windows function. However, the window switches are wired backwards. The car handles and drives nicely. The interior is in very good condition, also in factory style in yellow and black. The previous owner of this car died shortly after completion and it saw very little use. There were a number of things I had to do to complete the project. My reason for selling is that I don’t use the car as often as I should. I’ve owned it for five years and have not put 200 miles on it.
