Hello everyone. What we have here is a 1956 Buick Special 4 door sedan. I bought it as a project car, but the wife has nixed it. (and reasonably, I don"t have enough time or space for it)
No front end sheet metal except the inner fenders and hood. Hood is straight, but has cancer at both corners of the lip.
Interior floor pans are non existent, but the trunk is extremely solid. Body is fairly straight. Dash is complete with radio and clock. All of the steering system is there and functions. Roof is straight and good. All of the stainless trim around the windshield and rear window is there and in good shape as well as the trim under the windows on the doors. Some of the other body trim is straight, some is not. The rear bumper is straight, but has some pitting. Tail lights are complete, with some pitting, but good lenses. Frame is pretty well toast. No title, last registered in 1964.
The intention was to channel the body down over another frame and drivetrain, aka Roadkill, but like Roadkill, with me at the helm, its not going to happen.
There are some good parts still. I"m giving it a chance here on ebay before I part it out and cut up the rest. The trunk would make one of those good mancave couches, or even a BBQ. PM me here with questions. I will not part it out yet. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, if there are no bids on it. I will put used tires on it to make it a roller if it sells. $250 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction end, via Paypal. If you need some time to come and get the car, or arrange for shipping, that can be negotiated. I can help put it on a car trailer.
