For your consideration and first time offered from my private collection is my 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Custom Catalina Coupe. The second generation 1955 Star Chief was Pontiac"s flagship model and the custom was the dressiest version. This stunning Star Chief has gone thru a body off the frame concourse restoration and it shows pictures do not do this car justice. It is equipped with the 287CID Pontiac strato streak V8. Features on the car include the dual range hydramatic transmission and the power pack 4 bbl. The unique and most recognizable feature is the amber colored hood ornament that glows when the lights are on. The car is finished in the most desirable and striking tropic blue over white. The chrome, paint and stainless are all in finished and polished to the most high quality and all show in striking show quality condition. the interior is finished in matching tropical blue with white inserts there is no rips, tears, or fade. Tires, wheel covers and rims are in perfect show quality polished condition showing no curb rash. This car has received many awards from best paint, best interior, and many best of shows. This striking Pontiac has also been recognized and received AACA Senior Award, Pontiac Club Gold, and most recently recognized by the Antique Auto Club and received the James Melton Memorial Cup Award for the Eastern Division.
