Vehicle description
1954 Dodge Power Wagon bought new by Rayonier Timber Co. in Fernandina, FL. Truck is not rusty just a lot of original bumps and bruises. All original paint. I purchased from a good friend of mine. It had been sitting in a barn in Tattnall County, GA since the mid 1970"s. I got it out and began working on it. It had some valves that were sticking so we pulled the head and got them freed up and installed a new head gasket. Put new 8 volt battery, plugs, wires, cap, rotary button, and voltage regulator. We had the radiator reworked and bought a new old stock carburetor. We got it running very smooth. We then carried it to a good friend of mine to replace/repair the following things on it: New spindle, shocks, exhaust flange gasket, exhaust pipe kit, exhaust bracket set, declutch lever, left wiper motor, cover plate, signal 7 wire 6 volt, 6 volt flasher, flasher receptacle, steering shaft seal, knuckle felt kit, hand brake adjusting bolt spring, hand brake clip spring, hand brake anchor bolt, front spring shackle bolts, brake shoe return spring, windshield handle crank, door stops and bumpers, dust cover, light switch, vent window gaskets, window seal, door weatherstripping, vent window rubber, wiper arm adapter kit, 7 piece glass kit all NEW glass, windshield frame seal, rear window seal, brake light switch, fuel pump line, window bumpers kit, inner windshield gasket, door window channel, lower door seal, lower door clips, 9" wiper blades, wheel nut, parking brake lever, pinion seal, wheel hub seals, rubber brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake pads, mirrors, door wedges, new stainless gas tank, sending unit, cowl lamp gaskets, vent seal, door windlace, cowl lamp mounting pad seal, drag link cover, spindle bushings, knuckle oil seals, wiper motor, wiper motor repair kit, wiper motor knobs, dimmer switch, u joint clamps, u joint clamp bolts, u joint nut lock, slip yoke felt, large u joint, small u joint, new front drive shaft, pinion seal, output shaft seal, oil seal set, new ring and pinion for rear end, new front bumpers, new 9.00-16 Power King tires, new headliner, and had the seat covered in King Ranch leather.
I have spent well over $20,000 on the truck since I have owned it. If it needed to be fixed, I fixed it. The truck has a really cool patina look to it and you can still read Rayonier Timber Company on the doors. I fixed everything mechanical on the truck and left it as original as possible. You can find restored ones all day long, but they are only original once.
For more information, please call or text Luke at 770 894 2313 I do not have a title for this truck. We do not require one in Georgia for vehicles this old. I have tag receipts and a tag for the truck
