About this vehicle This 1953 Studebaker Commander Coupe is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work. Vehicle Details Have a 1953 Studebaker Commander V8 Starliner Coupe “Roller Project” up for auction. There’s no motor or transmission but has all the original drivetrain. Body is in pretty good shape for it’s age, mostly straight with very minimal rust (see pictures). All glass is good (one small crack noticed on passenger wing window). Floor pan is solid with only one or two small “quarter” size rust spots. Trunk pan is solid with no rust. Will need some interior work, have a front seat and backseat frames. No headliner. Have a lot of original parts that will go with the vehicle. Took pictures of everything placed out on tarps. Would be a great start for someone looking to build a nice custom, resto-mod, or stock 53’ Commander.
