Up for sale today is this beautiful 1953 Ford Crestline Sunliner convertible! This car is equipped with the legendary 239ci Ford flathead V8 with edelbrock tri-power intake and heads. . this is the V8 that started the hotrod movement in CA during the late 30"s through early 50"s! It a has a column shifted 3 speed manual or "3 on the tree" as it is commonly referred to. The motor runs and drives great and the trans shift smooth, it also has a overdrive lever! The power brakes work great and the manual steering tracks straight as it should! This car has a power convertible top that works great. The car has gone through a frame off restoration at some point in it"s past, and being that it was in a showroom for many years it has aged very well and is still in great shape, this would surely be a prized possession for the next owner. The upholstery is in nice presentable condition although the top and front seat are starting to show there age. This is a rust free California car that has been cared for and maintained by professional mechanics and detailers for many years, the only reason it is being sold is because the dealership owner is liquidating his toys to make more room for inventory.
