1953 Chevy 3100 five window short bed pickup. This truck is in great shape with zero rust issues. This truck is a great vehicle to restore or make a rat rod. I purchased this truck through a friend from the original owner. This is a true barn find. The owner bought it new in Oklahoma. I have the original title from 1953. The owner started a frame off restoration in 1983 and fell ill during the process. He stopped the process and stored in a barn since late 1984. I have the last registration and plate sticker dated 1985. This is what the original owner completed and purchased. Totally stripped body off frame and painted frame like new Completely stripped cab and did minor body filler and primed inside and out. Stripped lots and lots of small parts and primed. I have two of many parts! Completely rebuilt a 1964 230 in-line six filled it with Deisel fuel for storing Purchased new chrome front and rear bumpers still in 1984 news paper Purchased new front chrome grill still in 1984 news paper high quality chrome parts New window glass. 2 front windshield 2 rear corners and 1 main rear New window rubber and many more new parts He painted seat frames and reupholstered. They need to be recovered again. It has a eighties 10 bolt rear with drum brakes. This deal comes with lots of extra parts 2 sets of fenders 1 set inner fenders 2 hoods 2 tailgates 1 pair ribbed running boards original 2 radiator supports 2 sets of door vent windows and mechanisms 2 hood vents Bed brackets and floor trim Lots of extra small parts. Brackets, hinges, light, bezels, gauges, emblems, trim ect. . It also comes with newer front disc brake set up with calipers from S10 and a S10 five speed manual transmission. It also has the 3 speed trans and bell housing mounted to the 230 motor in truck Drive shaft This truck is a great find with all the parts and extras to sell! This truck and parts are in great shape with zero rust issues. The rust on it now is only light surface from sitting for 35 years!
