Vehicle description
This rare "52 Starliner Deluxe, 2 Dr hardtop comes with the original 6 cylinder engine, and 3 speed w/overdrive manual transmission. It runs excellent without any issues.
The body is dent and rust free, and the two tone paint is in good shape but has some surface bubbling in 2 or 3 areas. The trunk lid does show signs of more severe rust (see picture).
The car was in dry storage for most of its life and the chrome looks very good. Pot metal chrome is showing some pitting.
Recently the wiring was partially updated and the O/D Solenoid was rebuild.
The doors close very good, the windows roll ok, small areas of fog in the glass.
Seats are good but fabric needs a cleaning. We believe this may still be original. The headliner is NOT original but in good shape as well.
All gauges work, the dash is complete with the original radio still installed (not sure if it is working at this time).
This great classic is up for sale because the owner has too many Studebakers and wants to downsize his collection.
This car is for sale locally and if sold, the auction will be canceled.
Buyer is responsible for shipping.
