This is one beautiful truck i am selling for my neighbor It was restored in 1983 and has been driven 10,000 miles in the last 38 years.Restoration was done by a professional shop cost $18,000 to build 38 years ago.This truck was installed on a 1972 ford f-150 4x4 chassis .Body mounts are perfect ride height is perfect smooth ride over the road Recently the carburetor was replaced with Edelbrock 1403 electric choke .New HEI ignition was installed.New plugs and wires. Complete tune up checking all aspects oils were changed brakes were flushed out and checked showing 90% of the shoes still remain .New Toyo open country tires were installed.Truck has power steering and power brakes .New Interstate battery installed .Runs like a dream Can travel 60 mph no problem. Engine is as quiet as a mouse with lots of power coming from the 390 big big block.It has a four speed manual transmission that shifts smooth as silk.Truck stops on a dime.Heater works well .Upholstery is in excellent condition.Paint job for 38 years is really nice you can see some patina through out the truck from being washed and waxed many times. Chrome and stainless are in great shape no dents or dings anywhere on this truck.This is a driver not a trailer queen I would rank this truck appearance a solid 8 turns heads where ever it goes.What makes this truck so nice is it is four wheel drive would make a great second truck for someones cabin or just a great truck to daily drive.Truck is currently registered.
