Rebodied Crosley. 1951 Crosley drivetrain,handbuilt box frame chassis. 3-speed transmission. One of one fiberglass body manufactured approx. 1959 in Sacramento California area. Car now resides in Daytona Beach,Florida. Clear Tennessee title and vin plate included. Loss of storage unit forces sale. Some upholstery work started. Some mechanical work started. Some paint work done. Engine turns freely and valve train looks to be in excellent condition. Lots of original Crosley parts go with sale,along with some new parts,most importantly a marked original wiring harness that can be used to create a new one. Windshield is very good,but,origin is unknown. Parts of an original dashboard are included,with gauges. Wiring diagrams and some manuals included. Crosley emblems included. Much work is left to be done,but,nothing a skilled amateur can`t handle or turn it over to a professional to finish. Car is unique and collectible to the Crosley fan or to the growing early fiberglass culture. It is the only one in existence. When complete you can truthfully state you have the only one. Shipping,pickup,etc are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Can be rolled around and tow barred easily. All tires hold air. Comes with a brand new 6-volt battery as well. This car has never been on the road. Mileage of the base Crosley is unknown.
