I have owned this 1951 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck for 11 years and it was beautifully restored prior to my ownership. It has only 70,749 original miles. I am an enthusiast-owner and it appears to be as close to a factory original as possible in every way from engine & transmission, body & hardware, upholstery & interior, dashboard and gauges, 6 volt electrical system, wiring harness with cloth insulation, etc. Please see pictures. I have many more pics and can send specific areas if you want them. Overall condition is 9+/10, chrome including hub caps are 10/10, pickup bed is varnished pine (not oak) and 10/10. Factory original paint color is Fathom Green and 9+/10 with a few small blemishes that did not come through in photographs. Glass is 10/10. Interior is 9+/10. No rust anywhere. Correct bias-ply tires with at least 80% of tread. Body rubber excellent. The under hood & engine are clean and original, hoses & belt nearly new condition. Service has been performed by my personal professional mechanic. I personally cleaned, rebuilt and tuned the carburetor last month and adjusted valves. I drive this truck at least ten miles frequently and there are no mechanical issues in steering, drivetrain, suspension or brakes to my knowledge. The only malfunction I have seen is the fuel gauge registers full, then drops suddenly to 1/4 tank. It is stored in my heated garage under custom fitted dust-proof cover (included) and has never been in the rain. I haven"t entered this truck in any shows, but I believe it would do quite well in competition. I am selling because I need garage space, but I am willing to store it for a buyer for a short time if needed. I can help arrange commercial shipping.
