Vehicle description
One of only 5,836 Jeepsters made in 1950, this example is in very good condition. The car has only 57,400 miles on it! It has the original 72 HP Hurricane in-line 4 cylinder engine with overdrive. I have owned the vehicle for 9 years and it has always been garaged. There is no rust anywhere. I bought it from a private party in MA who only put 1,000 miles on it in 10 years. I have put about 4K on it in 9 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is in perfect running condition. Please note; this is a 6 volt vehicle and it will run on unleaded gasoline, but a lead substitute is required to lubricate the engine. There is a new cloth convertible top. The side curtains are in good condition. The only negative I can think of is the fact that the gas gage is not working. It has the original AM radio in it, but that will need to be serviced. I have never taken this car out without horns tooting, friendly waves and lots of thumbs up. If you want a collector car at an affordable price, this is the one for you. I have treated this car like a member of the family and you can see from the photos, it has been very well maintained. I have seen 1950 Jeepsters sell for more than $50,000. Act quickly. This one won"t last long. No trades, no dealers.
