Vehicle description
Rat Rod- Parts Car - Project Car . . Put it on a Monte Carlo Frame, etc. etc. etc. Do it YOUR way. No Reserve Auction.
What you see is what you get. This is a customer project that was started years ago. I ended up with it as part of a package deal. The dash is out of a 1950 Baby Lincoln (a NICE fit!) and has the Chevy 350-245 HP with a TH 350 Trans.
As a parts car you get a totally stock 1949 Mercury frame with steering box and all front suspension and rear. The rear is a 3.92 (non overdrive ratio) Great for putting in an overdrive Mercury for todays high speeds. It is great around town but also a great improvement with overdrive (get rid of the 4.27 overdriver rear).
If you are chopping a 1951 Mercury and you need a rear window, sheet metal cavity and glass - HERE YOU ARE. (I also have the stainless steel trim sold separately).
The motor runs. It is a Chevy 350 - 245 HP Block #3970010. Look it up online and you will find its listed as a 305 or 350. I KNOW it is a 350 -245. Also listed as 2 or 4 bolt mains. I don"t know what it is but the motor is out of a truck and the trucks and station wagons were usually 4 bolt. The engine is in the car but NOT fully installed. You can hear it run. The trans is a TH 350.
I will include another left front door to either change out or patch where the one on the car is cut. I also will include another right front fender. No Title. Bill of Sale only. There are various ways to obtain a title.
I am a parts dealer of 1949, 1950, 1951 Ford Mercury and Lincoln, If you"re buying this car to restore I do have parts to make your life easier. If you have questions regarding this auction please feel free to give me a call 610-442-2187 Noon to 10pm Eastern. Ask for Chris

A $300.00 nonrefundable deposit is required within three days of close of auction. Balance is due within 7 days of close of auction. Thirty days storage free with full payment.
