1949 Ford F1 series
Farm fresh, rock solid original pick up. AUTHENTIC PATINA! Flathead V8 (starts/runs smooth and is dead quiet) 3 speed floor shift (shifts great) Strong 12V charging system with GM alt. All 5 original matching 16" wheels. Also including the original beauty rings.
Truck is a lot of fun and dependable as the mail to drive!
Many new items:
*Brake system at all 4 corners, lines, hoses and master cylinder. *Brand new OEM style aluminum 3 core radiator *New side window felt guides (smooth operation) *Original fuel tank removed, blasted, lined, painted and reinstalled *Original seat completely restored *New 6.50-16 Power King tires *New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser and belts/hoses *New fuel pump assembly *Dual exhaust system *Steering stabilizer
Headlights (Hi/Low), marker lights, tail and brake lights all work. Stock gauges (oil/temp/amp/fuel) all work. Speedo/odometer did work but needle is bad. Original (HOT) heating and defrost system works great!
Bumps, dings, scratches, small rust spot here or there and 1 bullet hole. It is fantastic exactly the way it is.
You will be VERY hard pressed to find a nicer, more solid "49 F1 that you can drive and enjoy. This one is an attention magnet so don"t be in a rush at the gas station.
Selling for a really good friend with serious health issues. Truck came to Indiana from the original owners farm in Ohio in 2007.
Clear Indiana title in hand.
