1949 FORD F-1 Series
1st time ever offered/listed for sale.
Selling this wonderful truck for a dear friend of mine who has health issues and can no longer drive and enjoy it .
If there is a nicer, more solid original, unrestored pre "50 F-1 around here I don"t know where it is.
Daily driver/cruiser. Runs and drives FANTASTIC!
ROCK SOLID EVERYWHERE! ! ! ! NO BONDO ANYWHERE! ! ALL STEEL!
Shows around 57k miles Flathead V8 (runs like a Singer sewing machine even on freezing cold days) 3 speed trans (shifts smooth)
NEW parts:
*New fuel pump *New belts and hoses *New brakes and brake parts/springs/master cylinder and lines. *New front steering stabilizer (works great!) *New window guides, front and side glass and weather stripping. *New 6.50-16 bias ply Power King tires on original wheels *New original headliner and seat upholstery from LMC *New dual exhaust system *New U-joints *New bulbs (all work HI/LO, markers, brake/tail but no turn signals
All original gauges (gas/oil/amp/temp) work properly. Wiper works (vacuum so be patient) Heater works excellent on 3 speeds w/defrost. Has a rare and super cool Trico Vacuum fan.
Has Reese hitch and working light hook up for small trailer.
This truck commands attention everywhere you drive it as you would expect.
There are bumps, scratches, dings, dents and so on so look carefully at ever picture and examine the video. This is a wonderful truck!
