This RARE 1949 Chevrolet 3100 five window deluxe cab 1/2 ton truck is in in EXCELLENT condition and ready to drive and show. Everything has been inspected, refurbished, rebuilt, re-gasketed, gone through and replaced when necessary. All NOS parts were used when available. This truck has the original engine with 51000 miles and runs like beautifully. New water pump, NOS rebuilt fuel pump, New cooling fan , New Aluminum Radiator, New original style GM stamped radiator hoses and clamps, Pertronix Electronic Ignition and Flame Thrower coil, New AC Delco Rapid Fire spark plugs, Rebuilt original Delco Remy starter with proper tags and markings. 12 volt conversion with alternator for electrical reliability. All new wiring harness from front to back. New heater blower motor with NOS heater brass heater control valve with new seals, NOS Delco Remy blower motor switch with tag and original style ribbed heater hoses and clamps. New king pins and tie rod ends. New spring shackle bushings and pins. New fuel tank sending unit. Fuel tank has been cleaned and resealed. Original Chevrolet AM vacuum tube radio with correct date code, that has all new internals and tubes. The radio works perfectly! All gauges have been cleaned and rebuilt including odometer. Everything works! New 35 series Optima dry cell battery The SM420 "granny gear" 4 speed shifts smooth and has been completely inspected, cleaned, gone through and new gaskets installed. The differential and torque tube have new seals and gaskets. All new brakes, brake lines and hoses, new master cylinder and new fuel line. Original Fulton aluminum sun visor was installed and properly prepared and painted to match the truck about a year ago. Stainless steel bed strips. Polished stainless steel front fender supports as well as the lower front and rear fender supports. The truck will come with all manuals including the owners manual, shop manual, factory assembly manual, accessory installation manual and radio installation and repair manual. I will also include the original style tool pouch with original Chevrolet issued tools. This tool set itself can be quite costly. Original jack and handle with hubcap removal and install tool. Also included will be several NOS extra parts for the truck , ie: vacuum wiper motor. heater blower motor control switch and so on. Everything associated with this truck will be included in the BUT IT NOW PRICE! There is just too much to list, that has been done to this truck in the past five years. It is ready to role and show for the antique truck purist that wants as close to an original 1949 5 window deluxe cab 1/2 ton step side truck as you could get today.
