Vehicle description
1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup
This truck lived most of its life on a farm and with only 58,000 mile has seen very little use. The bed wood is a good indication of how little its been worked as it is the original bed floor. This truck is as solid as you will find. There is no rust , the floors, cab corners and doors are in great shape. The drive line (engine, transmission and rear axle are all original and work flawlessly. The clutch works fine. At some point it was repainted (typical farm truck style over minor dents) It still presents very well for its age with a few small scratches (great patina). The interior was sprayed and matches the exterior quality. The headliner and door panels were replaced. It also has a new radiator in it. This is a truck you can get in and go have some fun. This a 6 volt vehicle and all the electrical items work fine. The driver’s door glass has a small scratch on it (see photo) all the other pieces a clear and perfect. For 68 years old and only 58,000 miles this has to be one of the better finds for a 1949 Chevrolet 3100. Please e-mail if you have any questions. The truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if it’s sold. Thanks for looking.
