Vehicle description
Up for Auction is this all original 1948 Studebaker Champion, not sure if it is a Champion Deluxe or a Regal Deluxe, as we have not bothered to order the build sheet from Studebaker National Museum. We do know it has factory carpet floors. It has 36,906 original miles on it I drove it round trip from Springfield, MO to Albuquerque, NM and it ran excellent averaging 34 MPG.
Exterior Color is Iroquois Blue as you can see from the photos. I have personally owned this car since 1976 I have put about 8,000 miles on it. I am the second owner of this automobile and have altered nothing on it. It has new front tires. All glass is in good shape. All windows function properly. All doors open and shut good. Starts, Run, & Drives like new.
Known Flaws: 1) There is a paint stain on the trunk lid where a robin dropped an egg from the nest above the shop rafters.
2) There are some water condensation marks on all door panels and some on the rear window shelf as shown in the photos. These are not beverage stains and we have never attempted to remove them.
