1948 FORD F1 Pick Up
This truck was found in Huntington Beach Ca sitting in a driveway/garage. We talked to the owner and it was sitting in the driveway/garage for over 23 years. The owner was an older gentleman that owned it for well over 40 years.
I purchased the truck and got it running and driving, it is not ready to get on the freeway and go yet but we have taken it out and put about 40 miles on it. It does need the brakes done which I have the parts to do just not the time anymore. I have a ton of misc parts and new parts, it has fresh oil in it and a new gas tank. The registration is current.
I bought it so I can build it to a nice cruiser and patina out the paint with a bit of scuffing and touch up then clear coat. The body has very minimal rust as shown in the photos and the floor in the cab is solid. I just don"t have the time to do it.
The motor I believe is a 289 but have not verified it yet as I have been hesitant to clean it off fully and get the numbers. It does have a C4 automatic transmission in it.
