2 OWNER 1947 PLYMOUTH SPECIAL DELUXE SEDAN WITH 74,000 original MILES Engine: P15 747782 Serial No: 119* * * Body No: Built at the Lynch Road Assembly Plant in Detroit This auction is for an 1948 Plymouth sedan. The owner is only selling because his health problems make it difficult to maintain this great P-15 example.
This is an unrestored original needing attention. It is a strong-running P-15 needing a starter
Upholstery is showing wear on the front arm rests. The photos will help you understand
The only woodgrain deterioration is on the garnish molding where the driver rested his arm. The original rubber mats were deteriorating b adly (seen in one older photo) and were replaced with carpet. The body and stainless are straight with Little problems in the body, rockers or floor. The pot-metal parts are good with only occasional some pits as the photos show. Bumpers could be bright with a little help As for attention needed, there is surface rust along the floor at the trunk line. The weatherstrip has come off; paint is chipped and is now showing some surface rust. You will need to recover the arm rests a nd tuck in the vinyl along the door bottoms in areas where it has slipped out. Please request for additional Photos
