Inch ( This is a 1949-53 Ford Engine) Mild cam bored out Ofenhauser Aluminum high compression heads Center manifold 4 Barrel carburetor New Mallory distributor Pressurized oil system and filter New Dual exhaust with headers 5 speed manual Mustang transmission 4-11 Rear end New 15” tires (P235 x 75R) and chrome wheels Mild Tinted Windows Seat belts Only driven for parades and car shows · Inches from perfection (less than 500 mi. sincerestoration) Speedometer not connected (original one only up to 60mph) 1-1/2” chip on front fender almost behind the bumper ¼” scratch on the top of the tailgate Purchasing a finishedantique vehicle is much less expensive than redoing one yourself. The paint onthis was $6500, the engine work was $6500, rechrome work, new wiring, new taillights all added up.
