1947 Ford wood (woodie) station wagon SURVIVOR
Survivor: 1947 Ford Woodie wagon. Very nice example of a well cared for old wood station wagon. Used in mid west buy hardware store owner for parades. This is all original totally rust free. Items redone: Old repaint in black, which is in wonderful condition. Original color was green as is evident by picture of fire wall. Paint is proud and shiny. Wood is excellent in and out. Exterior could use a coat of varnish but i am leaving it as is for my taste. Interior wood is outstanding. Very old wide white wall tires needing a change ( comes with two new white wall tires.) Original front seat. No radio. Engine is original and a strong runner. 3 speed trans shifts well and car runs smooth. I have replaced, rebuilt original radiator, Skip Haney high performance water pumps, complete wiring(oem) through out, new gas tank, brakes and carb. The rubber mats all look great and are probably older replacements. Dash is in great shape. All gauges and clock work. All in all a nice example of a surviving, somewhat untouched old Ford Woody Wagon.
