Vehicle description
1947 Ford 1/2 ton pickup with 6 cylinder flathead engine. Restored several years ago. Very high quality red paint - excellent job - paint is in excellent condition. Truck was restored from original condition and put back in same condition that it came off the assembly line new.
Truck was rebuilt from front to back - engine, transmission, rear end, brakes etc.
Truck is completely all steel: cab, box, fenders - everything is original.
Truck was converted to 12 volt system; therefore, original gauges are not functioning. Under dash gauges have been added.
Truck has working lights, horn and heater. Wipers did work but for some reason are not working now. All glass is in good condition. Tires are period correct: 6.50 X 16.
Truck starts right up and runs and drives great. It has very few reproduction parts - this was an original truck.
Truck has a handful of flaws in the paint - pictures show this. It has a few paint bubbles on the bottom of the doors and tailgate has a crack in the paint.
Price includes 1951 Cushman Highlander scooter. It was completely restored at the same time truck was restored. Seller will not separate the pair.
Pickup and scooter are a great car show entry - seller has won many plaques and trophies for the pair.
