Vehicle description
This is an extremely rare 1946 Caddy convertible. Only 1342 made. A truly beautiful car in every way. Donor car used was a 1976 Lincoln Continental. The 460 Lincoln motor was totally rebuilt with just over 300 miles on it to date. It still has the break in oil in it! The C6 tranny was rebuilt along with the 9 inch rear end. It has a new power steering box, new gas tank, new power top motor, and 4 wheel power disc brakes. This fine resto mod has all the power accessories including A/C, power steering, brakes, conv top, trunk lid, windows and seats.
The interior is like new with beautiful plush peach fabric with blue trim, a full compliment of Autometer gauges, a Boyds steering wheel, and CD player. The windows are smoke tinted to keep things cooler with the A/C cranked up.
The outside is nearly perfect with a couple of minor touch ups to the Georgia Peach paint accented by the dark blue convertible top and those fabulous Boyds custom wheels. The body on this gem has never had a speck of rust by the way.
The car is big, bold, beautiful, and reliable and oh so comfortable. It rides and drives like you"d expect from a "CadiLincoln". Sorry but I"m not looking for any trade vehicles folks.
