“This is a nice original Studebaker Commander that has been part of the huge Goat Hill Automobile Collection in Southern California since 2002. All pictures were just taken for the eBay listing. The car runs and drives well and it was painted around 15 years ago. The interior does show aging and wear plus there is a small tear on the front seat by the driver’s door. (Please see the pictures in the listing.) There is some rust showing by the trunk lid edge near the bumper. The car came with a under-seat heater which currently isn’t installed on the car – however, it appears that we do have most of the parts which will be boxed and put in the trunk of the car. There is a small crack in the left rear window and a small ding on the driver’s door. The clock, radio, or fuel gauge do not currently work. The car is missing the rear fender rubber guards - see pictures. The car is now over 75 years old so we are selling it as-is with true mileage unknown.” |

Vehicle description
1941 Studebaker Commander Coupe Pre-War West Coast Car with 1-Piece Windshield This Pre-War 1941 Studebaker Commander runs and drives well and appears to be very original. It is our understanding that this car spent all or most of its life here on the West Coast. This coupe has been part of the huge Goat Hill Automobile Collection in Southern California for the last 15 years and the previous owner stated that the car was stored in California for around 35 years. This Studebaker Commander does have the 1-Piece windshield which means that it was produced later in the year and it is quite rare plus 1941 was the last full year of production before the US entered WWII. The car is equipped with a straight 6 engine, 3-speed column shift transmission with overdrive, dual fog lights and bumper guards. . The car was repainted around 15 years ago and still looks very good as does most of the chrome. All pictures were just taken for the eBay listing. The car"s interior does show some aging and wear as you would expect from an original 75 year old car. Please see the pictures in the listing.
