1940 Cadillac Series 62 Four door Sedan
You are viewing a nice survivor that was purchased in 2010. Unrestored survivor that runs and drives very nice. Shows 18K on the odometer which works, but can’t confirm. When viewing the car and the condition it would not surprise me that the mileage is correct at 18K. Really good example of a vintage Cadillac. Please read on for more particulars of the car:
Body/Paint: The paint is in really nice condition considering its age, It has some flaws in a few areas, but minor. The body itself has not rust and is nice and straight. Interior: Original stock. The front seat may have been redone, but not sure. Same with the carpet. Overall very presentable including the headliner. The radio turns on and has a buzz, but doesn’t work as well as the clock doesn’t work. Running Gear: Stock and runs excellent. Carb was recently rebuilt. 3 speed manual. Suspension: Stock and in good working order. Bright work: Very nice throughout with some signs of wear. Glass: Original in really nice condition.
Exhaust: Recently replaced. Brakes: In good working order. Wheels/Tires: Original with good rubber replaced years ago. Summary: This year and model is rare and desirable in the Cadillac world. Survivors are hard to find and this is a good one. I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Reasonable price so why build when you can enjoy today. Great value and a quality build for the money.
