I am selling my 1940 Cadillac 60 Special. I have had this car for many years and have done quite a bit of work to it. It is an excellent driver car and can be taken anywhere.
It has new exhaust, electric fuel pump, new tires, new stainless hubcaps [I also have the originals to go with it] new head gaskets, new radiator, new temperature sending unit, rebuilt generator and new voltage regulator. The rocker panel trim is off in the pictures but I have them and they will go with the car. The brakes have been redone with new wheel cylinders and a rebuilt master cylinder. The battery is only a couple of years old. The car has no rust except for a tiny hole in the rear passenger side door. I missed that when the small amount of the rust repair was done. (An easy fix) The engine is very good, does not smoke and runs so quiet that you will forget it is running. The 3 speed manual transmission is very good, shifts easily and smoothly. The interior of the car is really quite good. Glass is all good.
The trunk is clean with a spare tire and original jack. I have purchased several of the rubbers for it [windshield, rear window and some of the others] and they will go with the car. I will also throw in some other parts as well.
