About this vehicle This 1938 Packard 1600 is a restomod with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Original gauges don't work due to 12V upgrade. Aftermarket gauges installed. Speedometer does not work. .mileage? This 1938 Packard Business Coupe was professionally prepped, primered and painted with a striking Sunkist Orange over a straight, rust free body. Grille and rear bumper are powder-coated. It has been fitted with custom wheels and tires, not lowered. All glass is clear and crack free. Car won Best of Show at local Aircraft and Auto Show. Interior The interior has been orofessionally re-upholstered in medium gray cloth, new carpet and headliner were installed. Original steering wheel, shifter, dashboard, gauges are still present. Car was converted to 12V negative ground. Custom sound system was installed. Engine Origional 6 cylinder engine, with 3-speed manual transmission and rear end. Brakes are 4 wheel drum type. Car has been converted to 12V negative ground, with alternator. This car could very easily be modified with a V8 of just about any size, as the engine compartment is huge. Download the Motors app
