Vehicle description
This Ford is a all steel body , it has been entirely blacked out with most of the chrome either being removed or painted. The circular front grill gives a unique look and it sits under the only chrome pieces remaining on the hood ornament. Turning the ignition brings the 350 V8 roaring to life before it settles to a smooth idle. The motor has been customized with the Edelbrock Performer package. Package includes the heads, cam, intake and carburetor. Matching Edelbrock valve covers and an air cleaner. Other dress up components include Cool Flex hoses and a chrome alternator. The drive train is a smooth shifting Turbo 350 and 9" rear end. The truck has disc brakes on all wheels with Mustang II suspension. The 1987 Corvette high back bucket seats in the interior, very comfortable. The upholstery is all done in Black and Red with custom accents throughout. The door panels are topped with diamond plate in places which match the lining found in the truck bed. The dash is painted a nice Victory Red with custom pin striping and scroll work. White faced Stewart Warner gauges, tilt steering column is painted to match as is the vintage steering. AC system added and blows cold keeping for a comfortable ride. And if you do not want to use the AC system, the truck has a crack out windshield and working cowl vent. Blue Ford plaques are mounted to the side panels. The original tailgate has the Ford logo embossed in the center and the panels are topped with pin striping. Chrome billet swan neck mirrors are mounted to the top of each door and are easily adjustable. All of the glass is original with the front windshield being a crank out style, old school hot rodder’s will be quick to point out with a working cowl. Rolling the truck are polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels which are wrapped in slightly taller tires in the back giving it just a slight rake.
