Vehicle description
1937 115c Convertible Coupe. Outstanding car for someone who wants the mythical "nice driver". Ownership and maintenance history back to 1954. Current owner since 1977. Never "restored", just fully maintained and kept in good order over the years. .recent paint, top and interior. Re-detailed the overhauled engine last fall. Never been wrecked, rusted or abused (well, except for burning the clutch up on a hill during a parade in 1980). I am not much of a car salesman. . last car I sold was a 17 year old BMW in 2013. I have been a Packard owner/restorer for the last 40+ years. I know this car intimately and could go on for pages, but you would likely still have questions, and I would hope if you were serious you would come and drive/inspect it for yourself. Price is market correct - will negotiate spares package or delivery with a red bow. . whatever it takes to sell this car. I have other interests and priorities. Thank you.
Update on relisting after 3 weeks and several offers: Just a note on the basis for the price - the last two nearly identical cars I know of sold for $64,000 (on ebay) and $62,500 privately (reference available). Clearly, I am not seeking to set a record (that"s at $133K for a perfect car at auction). I will be happy to sell to an international buyer, understanding the time it takes to coordinate payment and transport. Just no cashiers checks for the car and transport simply needing pickup address. . .I"m not THAT stupid. .
Thank you for your interest. David Flack, Dallas.
