Bought this as an old race car with no motor or trans. about 20 Years ago. Its a PE, thats the longer wheel base model offered in 34 , it was a good street rod starter. Has a new ring & bearings, mild cam 392 Hemi. with dual quads, dual point mallory , 833 4 speed , 57 olds posi. with 4:11s . This started as a coupe, and was cut exact to original 34 conv. coupe specs . All steel except widened 1 1/2 inch rear fenders and smooth running boards. Rumble lid works good , I do not have the seat cushions , There is No Top, but repo. 34 ford stuff is real close to build one if You wish to. Has stiffened , plated frame and body from its race car days , all sturdy and doors close perfect. Front suspension is orig. independent, with disc brakes and power rack and pinion that I added. Rear suspension is 4 link , kind of primitive converted from the stiff ladder bar strait line stuff it had ,works OK and has rear coils, air shocks and sway bar. Exhaust is headers and 2 1/2 to turbos , sounds great . Paint has some chips here and there but still looks good. Runs and drives like an old rod should , every thing works , that means lights , gauges and fan. Two sets of hood tops go with , I think it looks better without the hood. I have been building cars for 50 Years , I get them done and really don"t drive them so Everything is still , new or rebuilt . This car has been driven about 20 miles in the last 10 Years , So lets not start with the can I drive it home stories.
